Each floor of the building is a different ecoregion of Oregon, so I created two pieces for the Cascade region (bear with lupine and hummingbird and gray wolf with bluebird and trillium,) one for the Willamette Valley (Brush Hare with Western Tanager and Daisies) and two for the coastal region (puffin with sea anenome and Brown Pelican with Silverspot butterfly and violets.) We worked together to create a special piece, and the image of this cake topper became the mascot for her blog Gator Bride that chronicled her own wedding planning experience. Since this initial collaboration, I have now made custom Gators, Golden Knights, Seminoles, Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Huskies, Georgia Bulldogs, several mascots, and even members of the marching bands for alums from colleges all across the US!
